Quick Wedding Card

Originally posted on August 10, 2010:

My husband told me yesterday afternoon that we were going to a wedding tomorrow evening  - I knew we were going to a wedding SOMETIME in August, but didn't know the exact date! I made this card for our friends.  Their colors are pink & blue, so decided to use Pink Pirouette & Marina Mist as the main colors.  After making some samples, I wasn't satisfied at how they were turning out but I knew I wanted to make a "tuxedo card", as my hubby calls it.  I came across a gorgeous card from Angela McKay on Stampin' Connection & decided I would CASE, or copy, it.  Well, this is what I came up with last night.  I spritzed it this morning after church with a mixture of Platinum Shimmer Paint & rubbing alcohol.  Am pleased at the final product & hope you like it too!
